Concept

My idea is to try to see only beauty in the world and transfer this beauty to the canvas. For me, painting is a celebration of life. I find great happiness all the time in watching color combinations, how light plays with shades on objects. I like to work in such genres as Impressionism and Art Nouveau, finding inspiration in the paintings of past artists. Also, my creative life is inextricably linked with the life of nature, so I really like to travel, and always with an album and a sketchbook. For me, art practice is a very essential part of being an artist. Through my drawings and paintings I try to inspire every human.

Biography

I am Nadezhda Pestova. I was born in Russia in 1987.In 2008 I graduated from
the Art College. G.K. Wagner in Ryazan and in 2016 the Academy of Painting,
Sculpture and Architecture by I. Glazunov in Moscow.
My creative path began long ago, even in my very early childhood. My parents
are by no means artists, but their interest in art has always been quite strong.
I like painting landscapes, still life, portraits and many other things in a variety
of techniques -oil, tempera, watercolor, pastel, colored pencils, in monochrome
graphic techniques, such as ink, graphite pencil, charcoal, sauce, liners, etc.
