to be updatedMy name is Anastasia Merris. I am an independent self-taught artist from a small town in Russia. In my work I use oil paints, acrylics, felt-tip pens, I like experimental combinations. I write in an abstract style with figurative details. I sell my works both in Russia and in European countries and the USA, I have received many approving reviews from foreign buyers. At the moment I have for sale a large number of large-format works.
Art is my life, my soul, and the studio in which I work every day has replaced my house. I paint people, also I paint my life experience, about toxic people and the toxic side of myself, about cruelty, anger. Most often, the faces of people in my work are either smeared or covered. Faces are just a mask, a shell, they do not have such values as in the inner world of a person.
