I am a metal sculptor based in the south of France, in Saint-Siffret, a small village near Uzès in the Gard.

Born in 1973, I grew up in an artistic environment. My mother, a mosaicist and stained glass artist, introduced me to the various techniques of stained glass and welding at a very early age.

The encounter with the concrete iron was a decisive turning point in my creativity, a revelation.

This singular, cold material, generally plunged and hidden in the concrete, passes from the shade to the light to give life to sculpted busts integrating the nobility of stained glass.

Through my works, I wish to reveal all the beauty, the fluidity and the generosity of this raw material " the concrete iron " by diverting it from its first industrial vocation.

Equipped with a soldering iron and an anvil, I sculpt, weld, grind, polish, fuse and metamorphose these simple iron bars according to my inspiration, playing with effects of transparency, matter and light.

The theme of femininity plays a major role in my creative process, where concrete iron with a masculine connotation associated with the warmth of stained glass, provides a soothing vision of the woman, with much modesty, sensuality and respect.
