Biography

My name is Sofia Banfi, I am a young Italian artist.
I am studying art and decoration at Brera's fine art academy in Milan.
I love informal and abstract painting with geometric shapes and straight lines.
In all my works there is a big emotional power.
This spring I was selected by Brera for a tapestries workshop at Arazzeria Scassa, one of the most famous and renowned in the world.
I have important and relevant European artists as schoolmasters, like Cascio Walter and Paolo Delle Monache.
In my spare time I make a different kind of painted jewelry and stuff, like denim jackets, jeans and t-shirts.
