Concept

I try to paint, discarding all theories, all my accumulated knowledge. I paint on impulse, faster. I love to be inspired by nature - to admire it and portray it. Flowers and blooming gardens delight me especially. But I'm not painting what I see, but rather what I feel. At the beginning I never know what will happen in the end. I try to get into the flow when I am painting. I surrender to my feelings. I paint in oil on canvas. Sometimes I wet the canvas with terpentin , and then the paint flows, forming interesting stripes. Sometimes I mark out the contours firstly, and then immediately start with thick brush strokes . For the last 5 years, I have been painting exclusively with a brush. I adhere to a loose manner of painting. Painting is a game for me. I invite you to participate in this game and see much more than you see at the first moment.

Biography

to be updated I was born in sunny Moldova, a country of bright colors and fresh wind. Then my family moved to Russia St. Petersburg, a beautiful city of pastel colors, but nostalgia for bright colors still lives in me. I've always loved painting, since I was a child and drew a lot When I was ten years old, I felt the desire to learn drawing realistically and I went to study at
children's art school. The desire to paint has always been inside me. When I am not painting for a long time, I start to feel bad. I received an excellent art education in St. Petersburg. Five years of studying in Art College named by Roerich and six years of academic education in Stieglitz Art Academy. I am a regular participant of international and Russian exhibitions. I have participated in over 100 group exhibitions since 1995 and every year I hold a personal exhibition of my works. I regularly participate in painting symposia in different countries of the world.
