Concept

This is a story about light. It's the way and appearance I love light. The story began 15 years ago. I designed, painted, manufactured, and constructed stained glass in a workshop, and through that process, I was able to deepen my understanding of stained glass. I also learned the limitations of it. Research and experiments were conducted for a long time to overcome that limitation. As I went up one step at a time, I bumped into the wall, and the method changed every time I crossed the wall. What has become increasingly clear is the relationship between materiality and light. Because I hung on to physical properties, I met the wall every time. The moment the center of gravity moved from physical property to light, the light answered me. Light makes itself stand out even more through color. Light told me. "I want you to spread the color more freely." I eventually decided to accept it. It took some time to understand the meaning clearly. It was not easy, but she eventually found a way to lift her infinite beauty and appearance and decided to put it into practice. I have just entered the space and path that light has opened. From now on, all we have left is to sing and dance with the light and travel. Light was watching me approaching with difficulty as if I were waiting for me, and when I reached her, she gave me a bright smile and open arms. From now on, I just need to love light.

Biography

Ever since I decided to become an artist at the age of 15, I have spent a lot of time trying to realize the definition and relationship of humans, art, and God. During my art college days, I also believed that I could get close to God and change the world through my career in art.
After graduating from an art college and working as a stained glass master and designer for a long time to earn a living, I was able to wake up to the real world. My passion for stained glasses deepened, so I studied stained glasses in graduate school. I hoped to be reborn as an artist and have long been committed to researching works with the determination to create something great using color glass and light. I have aged through numerous attempts and experiments to achieve satisfactory results.
Then one day, while walking down the street, I was fascinated by an unknown flower. Since then, I have become a pure childhood-like state of mind and can recall memories of my past. I decided to sit in front of the canvas again and draw.
