Biography

Pam Morton

Pam Morton is a local artist living in Shiremoor. She trained at Newcastle College of Art in Graphic Design, then started her career as a display artist for a large store in Newcastle. After having her three children Pam took on a different career path and moved into business development for many years. Pam started her own company three years ago. This has now allowed her to start to paint again as she mainly work from home. Pam’s inspiration comes from her mother who was an artist herself and she always encouraged Pam to pursue her love of painting. Pam works mainly in Acrylics, as she likes large bold works of art that stand out to give a wow factor. Her work offers a range of subjects that show the beauty and emotion of animals to fine art portraits.
