My art is an exploration of the beauty of this world that often come to us blared by haste and habit to discover light, colors and magic that are lays beyond the veil of reality.

Panting is a fusion of emotions and technique instinct and study. I'm still true to my first love, the plain air landscapes, the wide and clear panoramas of the Alps, the Mediterranean landscapes of Maremma, the hills of Brianza captured live or with photo references are my rendering of contemporary impressionism, but my strong imagination brought my beyond to fantasy conceptual subjects.

I began to work a sophisticated and ever more projected images, this studio paintings are visions that ripe between imagination and canvas in a slow distillation process, still they inherited my impressionist soul, the child with curious eyes that try to catch the wonder of light all around us: in trees and flowers, in the restless pattern of water and spread it on the sensual curves of a mermaid one of my favorite and successful subjects

I use traditional oil painting on canvas but I love also to explore the cutting edge of image technology being a professional photographer and a digital artist. I use digital imaging tools for illustration commissions and to focus my visions creating sophisticated studies for my fantasy and conceptual paintings.
Painting is also an exploration, my style and technique evolved over the 15 years activity yet I'm still experimenting to find an inspired unique way to capture the beauty and the magic that I see all around us.
