Born in Mexico City, Mexico, Ms. Carrillo majored in Business Administration and earned a Bachelor’s Degree awarded by the Universidad Del Valle de Mexico.
She has taken diploma courses taught by the great Masters of Mexican painting, such as the Theory of Color with Professor Hermenegildo Sosa, Capture of Images Professor Gerardo Torres, and she has studied various techniques such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, collage, and encaustic.
She has attended International Workshops in watercolors with Masters of different countries, such as: Chein Chung-Wei, Taiwan, Yuko Nagayama, Japan, Keiko Tanabe, San Francisco, Evaristo Callo, Peru, Jean Haines, United Kingdom, Tracy Lewis, California, and Flabio Cembranelli, Brazil.
She is a student of Teacher Joel Islas Huitrón, Beatriz Gaminde, and María Eugenia Anduaga, among others.
In her several years career, she has participated in more than 200 collective exhibits and 33 individual exhibits.
She has conducted various Watercolor workshops for cultural centers of the Government of the State of Mexico.
Her works form part of the cultural heritage of the Universidad Anahuac, Universidad Autónoma Del Estado de México, the Museo de la Acuarela del Estado de México, Universidad Tepantlato, as well as in private collections.
