My attraction to nature and plants.

I using acrylic is a meditative activity where I can follow my spontaneous ideas.

Cities are not about slow life movement and buildings there are huge on a human scale.

This series is also part of my politically critical images, which express the contradictions of society.

"I let the materials and the fire shape the paintings." The series was inspired by the euphoria of late autumn nature. Nature itself is close to Dora Stork, often drawing a theme from it. Instead of the whole, she likes to show the fraction of it.

The still lifes are reassuring to both the viewer and me as I paint them. My still lifes are impressionist style.

The painting is made with self-made paint, which basically consists of pigments and beeswax. Does not contain oil or other paints.

Using acrylic is a meditative activity where I can follow my spontaneous ideas and go with the flow. This is how these abstract organic forms are born from my unconscious and my very strong and often dominant rational self gives meaning.
