Her work is all done by hand, using scissors, glue, photographs, print media and sometimes paint and thread. Often using what others discard such as magazines, newspapers, envelopes, letters etc and giving them a new purpose. This process is meaningful for Nicolette, giving her work a sense of connection to the past and an honouring of it.
