Born in 1988 in China, in a family of artists. Jinan, her hometown is known for the literature of ancient and modern writers. Confucius' culture originated in his province of Shandong. These cultural and historical environments underpinned his education. Under the influence of her father, a painter of Chinese painting, her learning of Chinese painting began in childhood and adolescence. Between 2006 and 2010, she studied at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, in the oil painting department. In 2011, she came to Paris and studied for three years at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris. Being a student of Jean Michel Alberola, she obtained her DNSAP degree in 2014.

Her passion and research concerning nature, allow WEI Xing to cross the two cultures and two civilizations, interpreting a new mode of representation of the landscape. Her power to say is beyond her will to say.

Lives and works in Paris. She has worked for the Fondation Cartier, and collaborated with Idem Paris to produce and edit a series of lithographs on behalf of her gallery. Her works have begun to emerge in recent years in exhibitions in some museums, regional contemporary art centers, and international biennials in China and France. Among the collectors of his works, we find the names of: the director of the Association of the Friends of the Museums of Marseille; the former responsible for the cultural programming of CAPC Museum of Contemporary Art of Bordeaux; the director of Idem Paris, etc.
