Tano Jackson is a Ghanaian artist, songwriter, producer, filmmaker, author and designer. He has always had an interest in creative ventures. Tano Jackson is a member and co-founder of the creative collective Superjazzclub. He wrote and published a book, learnt to make films and started a fashion company by name LA TÊTE between 2017 and 2018. He teamed up with photographer and writer Nana Yaw Oduro to document the latter’s creative which was eventually aired on BET during black history month in 2020. He derives inspiration from a wide range of everyday life as black man and is inspired by the works of Jean Michel Basquiat and Kerry James Marshal with musical influences ranging from Quincy Jones, Pharrell Williams to Earth Wind and Fire, the artist seeks to experiment with multiple art types in telling stories. Tano Jackson is a 29 year old Ghanaian Artist who posses a newly untapped organic directorial know-how in fine and digital art, film, poetry
and story photography and art design.
