Nika Nyoko has been illustrating children’s books for about 15 years. Her interests, however, have turned to watercolor and oil painting, which she utilizes to delve into the heart of human connections and inner self-awareness.

She believes that her art is a conversation about ourselves, with ourselves, and that it should be honest and naked, without any regard for social rank or pretentiousness. Nika’s canvases are the outcome of contemplation on causal links in a seemingly chaotic universe, as well as recognition of complicated repeated behavioural patterns.
