Antonio Panza is a psychologist who has always associated his studies and research in psychology with figurative expression. In each of his works there is always a trace of an interior research based on the method of free figurative associations; he is self-taught and prefers to use simple and poor materials such as pens and pastels "because art is human and must be accessible to all". When he was twenty he began an in-depth study on the surrealist works of the early 1900s, in particular by Salvador Dalì, which profoundly marked his expressive style. Over the years, when he becomes a psychologist, he begins to conduct therapeutic workshops based on artistic expression and organizes collective exhibitions of the works produced during the workshops. In addition to surrealism, his art is influenced by strong influences from the study of psychoanalysis and philosophy, in particular from S.Freud, J.Lacan and H. Bergson. Currently, for about a year, he has been participating in the construction of a theater workshop and has participated for the first time, as a leading actor, in the staging of an opera.
