Meral Bilkay was born in 1979 in Istanbul. After she finished her degree in Information Management at Sakarya University she continued her career in a variety of positions within the information technology sector. Her whole life, from the time she could hold a pencil until today, on and off she has been drawing. For many years she has taken courses on developing her creativity as well as the theoretical and practical methods of developing her talents and skills. Her motivation and energy comes from listening to classical music and spending time in nature. She has also found that spending part of each year abroad enables her to feed and develop her creativity through new and different experiences. She continues her professional development in her studio in Fenerbahçe, Kadıköy.
