Hector Fernández has always been surrounded by pencils and paints. For him, drawing and painting have been and are fundamental and vital activities, he comes from a family professionally dedicated to artistic creation.

After his Bachelor of Fine Arts, specialty Painting, at the University of Barcelona in 1994, he moved to the family studio where developed his pictorial work. From 2000 to 2009 he was part of the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc (founded by the great architect Antoni Gaudí among others in 1893 in Barcelona, Spain) where studied the human figure in depth.

After more than forty solo and group exhibitions and several international awards, in 2009 and to date Hector Fernández, has his studio-gallery in the center of Barcelona, ​​where he continues his pictorial career and carries out commissioned Artworks.
Hector Fernández is an artist of his time, eclectic in terms of the subjects he addresses and the techniques he uses. Among his favorite themes we can find the human figure, the nude, the still life, animals, the landscape, etc. all of them treated with a modern and urban vision. Acrylic paint, oil and also spray enamel are often used on canvas, wood panel, aluminum plate to capture his ideas.
As an artist of the 21st century, Hector Fernández has always been interested in technology applied to images. From digital retouching, 3D creation, and VR applied to artistic creation.
His drawings and paintings are present in museums and private art collections around the world.
