Gustavo Tomé arrived to represent Latin America and its vibrant colors, the artist boldly seeks to surprise with each work performed, seeking in his paintings to always work in an original and genuine way with human and social narratives, especially with power relations. The artist easily moves between figurative and abstract, having as academic references the Bauhaus Gestalt school and Goethe's theory of colors, his art has a strong influence from Frank Miller, in addition to great geniuses such as Basquiat, Paul Klee, Turner, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, John Singer Sargent, Edward Hopper, among others giants.

Since he was a child he learned to use only the 3 primary colors, varying the tone with light and dark, thus creating a vast repertoire of colors always seeking to challenge paint manufacturers, his colors are always a vibrant surprise to the viewer and received positive reviews from the Masters from the Academy of Classical Arts in Florence, Italy, where the artist received very positive feedback from the school: "You have a very good color feelings." FCAA - Florence 2021. The artist's colors were also praised by the curator team of the TRiCERA contemporary art gallery and the curator of Agora Art Contemporary Gallery located in Chelsea, New York.

According to the artist “Art is not communication, that would be advertising, with its slogans with a strong behavioral and operational content. Art is expression, energy and vibration of feelings amidst chaos, manifestation in colors and shapes, in a play of light and shadow orchestrated under some kind of code imposed by the artist himself in an infinite possibility of arrangements. ”
