Cristian Lanfranchi (1972)
Germany, France, Spain, USA, UK and Argentina are all countries that Italian Cristian Lanfranchi has spent time living in. Since 2022 in Valencia region, Spain. His career has taken him from advertising and illustration to fashion. In recent years working as a visual merchandiser, fantasy jewelry maker and stylist at Milan, London and Tokyo fashion shows. He started his painting career doing Pop Pet Portraits under the Kunstdog brand, with private commissions and merchandising.
After settling on the beautiful island of Menorca Cristian unpacked his vast collection of diverse materials and embellishments gathered over the years on his travels and from fashion collaborations and began creating this new body of work. Inspired by the global sustainability conversation, he has recently started to reuse discarded clothes and hospitality textiles for a fashion collection made of unique pieces under the artworn label.
Since January 2022 lives in the Valencia region, Spain, where he continues to create and uses his art studio space called galeria modesta to exhibit his and other artists' works.
