Catalin Ilinca is a Romania based contemporary artist.
- He uses different techniques, such as - drawing, painting, photography, illustration. His works contain references to Eastern and Asian culture, films, poetry, literature, art history, merged with his own experiences and ideas, drawing inspiration for his figurative work from life, his own photographs, fashion magazine editorials or movie scenes. He has been painting and exhibiting in Romania, USA, Hong Kong and Spain.
- He studied painting for 6 years, at University of Arts, Bucharest (graduated in 1997), and Film Direction for one year at Hyperion University (2000/2001), before embarking on a career in graphic design, art direction and illustration. (His graphic design works were published and reviewed in several well-known design magazines and books).
