Dodo Newman is an internationally exhibited, established artist living in Berlin, Germany since 2008. Her artworks are the mirror of her cultural diversity due to her childhood, growing up in multiple countries. Her works are cultural bridges that have brought together 12 embassies in Germany, in one of her biggest projects.
Dodo’s works have been also exhibited and collected throughout the world, including in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, The Principality of Monaco, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, The Netherlands, UK and in the USA.
Dodo was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1974. Growing up in a diplomatic family, she experienced the travels and the intense cultural changes as a child. Living in and experiencing the contrasting worlds of India, Iran, Italy, UK, Hungary, in 2008 Dodo got a strong calling to settle in Berlin, Germany.
After moving to Berlin, Dodo started to dare to have even bigger visions, related to her life experiences. This was the period when she moved away from single artworks and gallery exhibitions to global projects, whereby she could combine art with cultural issues and human messages. Her awareness projects are the grounds for her to form a broader audience through her art and artistic visions.
She co-authored the book related to her art and life: “Incredible Titanic Life Stories: Cultural changes over 100 years & Borderless Art”. She also created the illustration for the book, based on her life, “The Inspirationalist”.
Beside having published “Out of the Box innovation”, a summary of her teachings she engaged in several speeches around the importance of creativity and inspiration.
Dodo aims to share her thoughts and experiences with her audience in multiple forms, through her paintings, writings, speeches, online platforms, videos.
Dodo believes that as an artist she has a gift to form the inner world of those open to it, through her own journey, her art, artistic messages and visions.
