Pertti Huhtala is a visual artist born in 1951. He has studied arts at the University of Lapland, completing fine art studies in 2019, in 2002 I completed advanced studies in information technology which familiarized me with the digital world and its possibilities in visual arts. I graduated in 1976 as a engineer in building construction, in my work I learned about the use of different design methods and architecture. The first cad drawings were completed in 1985. Photography and videos have been my interests, especially nature photography, and its variation in its various forms. Art made possible by AR technology has also produced a few works that take a stance on restoring nature, such as migratory fish. I work by combining different techniques, such as oil, acrylic painting, acrylic pouring, graphics and photography, as well as editing the works with image processing. Now the trend is towards natural colors and you can easily get them with, for example, tempera, oil paints are usually based on linseed oil, pigments can also be found in earth colors.
Subjects for paintings and art can be found in the ever-changing nature, its colors and atmosphere. And with time, you can return to an older work and develop it further, suitable for this time.
