My name is Lana Ritter, and I am a Swiss artist, who lives and works in my studios in Switzerland and Spain.
I am a self-taught multidisciplinary full-time artist who has her art style, developed, and perfected an identifiable style, creates big-size paintings in premium techniques, and started to paint in 2015 and will never stop. I am serious about being an artist; I treat it like a job, have a routine for working in the studio and creating art, and take no extended breaks or vacations from creating it. I have a lot of ideas for new paintings, and I am inspired to realize them.
My paintings convey life stories of all kinds; experiences involving nature, places, people and sounds that are woven into the relationship with colours, and texture. It is a sculptural interpretation of the images and emotions accumulated from my experience.
This is what gives me the ability to create contemporary paintings that people like to buy.
