Lived in San Francisco for a year while in college.
Worked at a printing and production company, mainly engaged in Harley-Davidson sales promotion, advertising planning and production, store design, and other advertising production.
Started creating chalk art in 2002 and published a book in 2006.
Currently active in many fields, such as exhibiting and selling her works in Japan and abroad, making signs and welcome boards to order, and working on corporate advertisements.
She has exhibited in New York, at the Louvre Art Fair in Paris, and in London, Melbourne, Taiwan, Berlin, Miami, Barcelona, and many other places.
In 2011, she launched "Mikiko Method Original Chalkart" and has been developing works with the world view of "Mikiko Method", which is not bound by the frame or technique of chalk art.
