Concept

"Asri Ambariyah is a 42 year old Indonesian abstract artist, born in Yogyakarta and now living in Jakarta. Working primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, Asri calls upon her feelings, moods and desires to express herself with a kaleidoscope of bold colours, shapes and forms. Each painting has a theme or message which is written on the reverse of the work. Ambar has a Masters Degree in Management and currently uses these skills and education in her role with the Indonesian Government. Her true passion however is painting, which she has done since childhood. A self taught artist , she hopes that her art work will excite and stimulate the viewer with it's energy and colour. Her art work is enjoyed by clients not only domestically in indonesia, but internationally as well."
