Chameleon needed a change and moved to distant Australia. Settling in Sydney, the artist was impressed by its vivacious people and boldly different culture. This new place was well-suited to what he desired for his artistic articulation. Chameleon wanted more intensity in his colour palette. And sought a way to shorten production time so he could produce more paintings. Fluorescent acrylics provided the solutions. His technique and style evolved as a result, and he went on to explore new subjects and genres with it over the next decade. During this time, a very personal style and vocabulary was established which quickly became recognised and popular.
