I am a self-taught Norwegian mixed media artist and started painting with acrylics in January 2003. I have previously worked as a airline cabin attendant, hairdresser, radiology technician and graphic designer. Today I am a full-time abstract expressionist artist. When painting I explore using my intuition and connecting to my inner self. I also implement the knowledge, both theoretical and practical, I have attained these 17 years as an artist.

A sabatical in Phuket, Thailand (2009-2013) did wonders for both me and my art. While living there I became influenced by the imagery of the monks and the inner knowledge, kindness and tranquility they radiated. I have since made two Monk series and a Buddha series influenced by my stay there.

The past three years I have been painting more expressionistically and am loving the freedom it gives me.

I have been successfully selling my art online internationally and by word of mouth since 2004.
