I'm an Italian painter, classically trained in Florence. After studying under Florentine painters since an early age, I took art classes at the Fine Art Academy in Florence and painting workshops at various Art Academies such as The Charles Cecil Studios and the Russian Academy. I also enrolled at the Angel Academy of Art and graduated in 2012.
I paint in a figurative realistic style and my main interests are people and portraits. In my paintings I'm interested in telling a little about the story and the world of the subjects I portray. I take inspiration from my city, Florence, and from distant cultures which I have the chance to meet during my trips outside Italy. I try to combine the realistic approach with some abstraction using a painterly technique.
