Siobhan was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland, in 1983 and attended Kilmarnock Academy where she was taught by one of the Glasgow Boys, Jim Wylie. She then attended Ayr College where she studied HNC Art and Design before starting a family. Siobhan is featured in the art installation in Kilmarnock train station for her mural 'Kilmarnock and the Arts' dating back to 2001. She made front page of the local newspaper and also in the prestigious Scotsman. After completing her family Siobhan began a full-time career as a police officer while doing private commissions in her spare time. Some of her work has been shown in exhibitions in Kilmarnock's Dick Institute, Crosshouse Hospital and Paisley Abbey. Siobhan moved from Ayrshire to Argyll in 2017 and has since taken more time to focus on her artwork. Siobhan has a varied approach to her artwork and can include animals, portraits and landscapes in her portfolio of work. With well over 50 commissions in the past three years alone she is an accomplished artist. Recently Siobhan has taken inspiration from the vibrant artwork of Barcelona and the bold use of colour by her once mentor Jim Wylie and has began a series of contemporary artwork based on the heritage sites of the United Kingdom, incorporating her love of historical buildings with bright colours and night skies.
