Concept

Born in 1955. He has been a member since Katarube no mori was opened in 1994.Humorous pictures of living creatures, which are carefully painted. He looks at magazines or photography books and chooses various animals, humans or landscapes etc. as his motif. He draws the motif while barely keeping the original shape, so that an interesting world appears on a canvas. His strong intentions for drawing allow him to overcome his handicap and he has been engaged in this with a feeling of love for the act of drawing pictures itself. His works created in this way, seem to give gentle consideration to the viewers’ feelings and give them courage as well.
