I am an impressionistic and classical still life artist. I studied art at the the University of Maryland and representational art at the Coppini Academy of Fine Arts in Texas I have lived in Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer and worked for several years in Korea and Germany; visiting their museums and taking their art classes. For the past 20 years I studied the old masters representational art style at workshops led by master artists. I am now retired in a beautiful small town located on a river and am often inspired by memories of the cultures that enriched my life. My training in representational art complimented with a 20 year practice in meditation allows me to paint intuitively to evoke a mood; striving to capture the delicacy of flowers in light, the timeless beauty of a quiet still life and the glow of sunsets by our river . Painting light is the universal theme in both my impressionistic and still life images. I find joy when a collector shares a memory or a feeling when looking at my art.

I am a member of the Boerne Professional Artists and the Coppini Academy of Fine Arts. I am also an award winning artist who has enjoyed several solo exhibits in San Antonio. My art is represented in the Helotes Fine Arts Gallery, River Art Gallery and The San Antonio Artists Collective Gallery.
