Concept

Anna Koshal Born 1993, Kirov region, Russia Based Moscow, Russia 2011-2015 Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, department of easel and book graphics - student Studying at the academy in my department assumed 6 years, but I decided to finish my education earlier. I had different views on graphics and art in general with my department. In 2013 and 2014, I managed to attend a workshop in Poland which opened my eyes to my useless education, which did not reveal my creative potential but merely drove into the frame of “Soviet realism”. After leaving the academy, I was completely disappointed in myself as an artist. I’ve spent next five years to find myself and my way in art. I decided to break the shackles of classical Russian art education and start my new art life. Hope, you will enjoy my works as i do.
