Katrina Slade is a third-generation visual artist whose work conveys the intangible and ethereal, often through the creation of organically-inspired compositions. Her abstract painting methods often incorporate mixed media elements. Slade’s artistic aesthetic is influenced by her international lifestyle, after spending most of the past decade abroad. She earned a BFA in 2010 and MA in 2011 in her home state of Oregon, in the United States. Slade has enjoyed several solo exhibitions, as well as participated in multiple two-person and group shows. Her work is in private collections in many countries around the world, including Japan, Singapore, Russia, Germany, Canada, and the United States. She currently lives and works in New Brunswick, Canada.
