Concept

I love the ocean. The sound of the waves, the gentle breeze. They provide a serenity unlike any other. These waters provide life. These waters purify our earth. Quietly, continuously, day and night… I only have gratitude for these waters as I photograph them. I would like to exhibit these photos in hopes that it will awaken more awareness in us all, the necessity to take better care of our earth, to be the spark, leading to new ideas on how we can better coexist with nature.

Starting his career in the art world as a graphic designer in Tokyo, Katsuhiko later moved to New York to study under Alex Wiederin,later joining the Buero New York Team.
In need of an additional outlet for his artistry and ideas,he began his studies at The International Center of Photography New Y...

Starting his career in the art world as a graphic designer in Tokyo, Katsuhiko later moved to New York to study under Alex Wiederin,later joining the Buero New York Team.
In need of an additional outlet for his artistry and ideas,he began his studies at The International Center of Photography New York, debuting as a Photographer soon after.
In taking his photography, Katsuhiko makes it essential that his art reflects “the harmonious beauty between nature and man”.
He is now based in Tokyo, noted especially for his beautiful ocean scenery.
His invigorating works leaves the viewer in awe,as they find an exquisite mix of great healing and vitality in his images.
