I grew up under the strong influence of my father, who loved Buddhist paintings. Being familiar with beautiful and cosmic Buddhist paintings from an early age naturally nurtured my sense of color and led me to pursue painting. After graduating from a high school design program, she began painting pottery and doing signage art with oil pastels, and began working with acrylics in her 2016 solo exhibition. For motifs, I am attracted to things that blend quietly into our daily lives, such as the smell of the wind blowing across, the sound of rain hitting the leaves of trees, the sound of footsteps and water flowing, breathing and gazing, time and boundaries. With transparent colors and textures, I draw things that cannot be seen or touched, weaving them together like a tapestry.
