From 1990 to 2001 he stayed in Milan. The experience at that time has had a great impact on my present self. I like the clear colors because of the dry air, and I was interested in old European walls and wanted to express them with oil paints. Immediately after returning to Japan, I will have a solo exhibition at my local Isetan Urawa, counting 19 times. I am searching for the subtle colors of oil paints that are shaved or layered. From the wall, I started drawing windows, doors, and various everyday objects. Recently, I also draw watercolor collages that dry quickly and hang at a stretch. I think it's an intermediate work between abstract and concrete.
