Kamakiriko is an artist who challenges to"reconstruct the beauty painting " by depicting strong women with a strong and strong gaze.

First solo exhibition at TRiCERA
Kamakiriko's representative works of women with their hair and bodies shining through the nightscape are both strong-willed and fragile at the same time.
The opening hours ofthis exhibition are from 15:00 to 21:00, inspired by the image of "dreams at night" in these women's figures.
Please enjoy a different gallery space in Roppongi under the midsummer's coat of arms.
In addition, on Friday, August 25, from 19:00 to 20:00, Kamakiriko will hold a live painting session. A completely new painting by Kamakiriko will be completed for this exhibition.
The work is inspired by "R CITY," a mirage city that appears only at night at Roppongi Crossing, and is also connected to 9's Gallery.

About the solo exhibition "Do Girls dream of Electric City?
Since her debut in 2021, Kamakiriko has exhibited mainly digitally. This exhibition is a rare opportunity to showcase works from the transitional period when Kamakiriko converted to hand painting.
The live paintings, which combine digital and hand painting, are not simply a critique of digital technology, but rather a practice of "how can we use digital technology to leap forward in human creativity?" but rather a practice of "how can we use digital technology to make a leap forward in human creativity?
Artist Statement
We are now entering an era in which human creativity could be replaced by AI. Today, anyone with an Internet environment can easily use generative AI.
When the technology develops and AI takes away the creativity that has been thought to be "something only humans can do," will the human race fall into the trap of indulging in the pursuit of fleeting pleasures?
In order to resist such a situation and pursue human values, Kamakiriko has turned from traditional digital production to hand painting.
This exhibition will present both his digital and handmade works, providing an overview of his transitional period as an artist.
In particular, during the live painting session at the end of the exhibition, Kamakiriko will show the process of finishing her digital works with brushes and paints.
This will be a symbolic project that questions the distinction between analog and digital, human and AI.
What kind of value will remain for human beings when "what only human beings can do" is removed by AI? These questions are contained in the gazes of the women depicted by Mentoriko.

Kamakiriko Kamakiriko
Kamakiriko is a contemporary artist from New Tokyo, who is tackling the challenge of "reconstructing the portrait of a beautiful woman.
She calls herself "Kamakiriko" because of her determination to depict a strong female mantis that "sometimes eats the male during mating.
In just two years since starting her career as an artist, she has exhibited her work at numerous international art fairs and gained popularity.
