Not all artists' works of art are purchased already produced.
There is also what is called commission work, in which the artist creates an artwork to order according to the customer's request.
In this article, we will explain commission work in detail with photos and examples of actual orders to finished works.
What is commission work?
Overview
Commission work is "made-to-order" in Japanese.
In a normal purchase of a work of art, the artist purchases a work of art created by his/her own inspiration. In contrast, in commission work, the artist listens to the client's requests for the image of the work, and creates the work according to the content of those requests.
It is also used by popular artists as a reservation to purchase new works when their regular works have sold out and are not in stock.
Features of Commission Work
The feature of commission work is that we listen to various conditions such as the customer's desired taste, motifs, and colors in advance, and have the work created according to these conditions.
Therefore, you can have the work made in the size of your choice, or have it created in an atmosphere that suits your taste, while taking advantage of the artist's specialty.
At TRiCERA ART, a wide variety of artists are available for commission work at any time.
Some artists are able to work from photographs of your pets or landscapes.
