Figurines are easy to collect close at hand and are adorable and palm-sized.

In this issue, we will introduce the world of figurines as works of art.
1. cute "KAWS" figure featuring an "x" mark
KAWS (November 4, 1974-) is a contemporary artist born in New Jersey, USA.

Now based in Brooklyn, he is a painter, graphic artist, fashion designer, sculptor, and toy artist, among other titles.
Known for his pop artwork featuring paintings and figures of characters with "x" eyes, he has collaborated with a variety of popular content, including The Simpsons, Disney characters, Sesame Street, and big-name musicians.
Influenced by the likes of Gerhard Richter and Chuck Close, KAWS is a highly regarded artist not only in the street art world but also in the fine art world. 2. Takashi Murakami's 1.6 billion yen figure "My Lonesome Cowboy
At a massive 288 cm, contemporary artist Takashi Murakami's "My Lonesome Cowboy" figure is a shocking three-dimensional rendition of an anime-style character ejaculating.
From the outset, Murakami has struggled to place elements of Japan's unique subculture within the context of contemporary art developed in the West. The work, which is influenced by the depiction of sex in Japanese art as seen in Shunga of the Edo period, has been basically unappreciated by Japanese artists and critics, but has been appreciated in the West as something completely new.
The title of this work is thought to be a tribute to the 1968 film "Lonesome Cowboy" directed by Andy Warhol. 3.
