Andy Warhol is a very famous artist who still commands high prices in the contemporary art world.
Many of you have probably seen his prints of Marilyn Monroe and soup cans.
Although Warhol had a wide range of activities as a painter, illustrator, and film director, there are actually some little-known facts about him.
Early in his career, Warhol, then working in advertising as an illustrator, collaborated with interior designer Susie Frankfurt on a picture book called " Wild Raspberries.
The title was taken from the title of a romance drama published in 1957 called " Wild Strawberries."
Several dozen copies were printed and given as gifts to friends.

It is said that he was inspired by the "automat" style that was popular in the U.S. in the 1950s, and was planning to open a restaurant in a similar style.
The restaurant was to be named "Andy Matt's
Automat. A vending service, like a vending machine, that automatically dispenses warm food and beverages.
The world of celebrities and glamorous shows is one that he himself featured in his work, so it makes sense to hear that he was a TV producer.
Between 1979 and 1987, he was the producer of three shows: Fashion, Andy Warhol's T. V., and Andy Warhol's Fifteen Minutes.
Fashion
Originally born into a deeply religious Catholic family, Warhol adhered to traditional Catholic teachings on various occasions.
It is reported that he regularly volunteered at a homeless shelter.
Some may recall Warhol's self-portrait holding a dachshund named Archie.
However, what is perhaps less well known is that he also liked pugs.
Warhol was also captured strolling with a pug in Manhattan in the 1980s.
