9s Gallery by TRiCERA is pleased to present "Tsukasa Suzuki Solo Exhibition" from October 28, 2022 to November 3, 2022.
Tsukasa Suzuki
Artist Tsukasa Suzuki aims to propose and give birth to a "new genre" in the contemporary world through his art activities and works.
Suzuki, who has attracted many fans with his intricate touch and mixed media, presents his works based on the concept of "neo-tribalism," in which he has found something of value in various places, people, and times.
Artist Statement
I connect the dots by adding my own consistent art to valuable objects. The connected lines create a unique form. The soul is refined and created. It becomes a new genre.
We believe that this will save the world's underprivileged talent and those who are hungry for excellence.
At the same time, by 2033, we will travel to all African countries, collect works by young local artists, and donate them to a museum.
The plan is to make that museum a museum where art works from all over Africa can be seen, and to develop it to a scale that will influence the African art market.
All in order to give all the economically disadvantaged talents in the world a chance. "
About this Solo Exhibition
After living in Rwanda for five years as a dressmaking teacher, Suzuki returned to Japan and became a painter. Three years later, he returned to Rwanda as a painter, and started the "heART" project to exhibit and produce artwork created in workshops with local children in Japan. He is currently working energetically with Rwandan children to establish the first local art museum by 2028.
This time, he will hold an event with live painting, music performance, and a talk on the following date and time. Everyone is welcome to attend.
