Born in France, currently lives in the United States. After graduating from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in English Literature, she began studying fashion design in New York. In addition to fashion design, she studied typography, logo history, and letters at Cal Arts. After seeing a butterfly, she became interested in drawing, which led her to formally enter the art world.
A.C.D.'s work is characterized by color and clean line strokes. She herself has four-color vision, so she can see ombre, mauve, and different colors merging into each other, while others see only one color. To control hue and saturation, she paints and mixes colors simultaneously. Her unique vision gives rise to the beautiful colors she uses in her paintings.
