Italian artist Francesca Borgo creates abstract landscapes in earthy, natural tones. Inspired by the nature around her, she adds textural effects using acrylic paint, gesso, and acrylic resin mixed with sand to enrich her expression.

Painting has always been a passion of hers. It captured her imagination and fueled her desire to express the different futures of humanity and the planet. After a period of illness, during which she was confined to her home for a while, she began to have "daily dates" with color and paintbrushes, feeling more and more in touch with herself.

Her work uses intensely diluted colors to shape the overall effect, and metallic pigments to create light reflections. Together, these create a contrast of shadow and light. She has recently begun to explore new media to create digital paintings using a pen and tablet. This technique has allowed her to express the conflicts of her inner world.
