Concetto

Il tema principale delle mie opere è la personalità umana con la sua ambiguità e vulnerabilità, costantemente in movimento e in equilibrio tra i sentimenti interni e l'ambiente esterno. Dietro l'aspetto esteriore di una persona, mi sforzo di vedere la vita dell'anima nella sua continua formazione, un'eterna ricerca dell'irraggiungibile. Nelle mie opere sottolineo gli elementi fragili, giovanili e vulnerabili. Mi interessa anche la questione della frammentarietà della coscienza e della possibilità di raggiungere l'integrità, che si interseca con la mia pratica di lunga data di lavorare con i mosaici.

Biografia

Alena Masterkova è una pittrice moscovita, laureata presso l'Università Teologica di Mosca, facoltà di pittura monumentale, come artista di arti monumentali. Dopo la laurea, ha lavorato come artista di mosaico e ha creato molte icone a mosaico per le chiese di Mosca e di altre città, ricevendo anche ordini privati per la decorazione di case. Alena Masterkova è membro dell'Unione degli artisti di Mosca dal 2007 e partecipa a mostre d'arte internazionali. Nel 2000-2020 ha lavorato come artista di mosaico indipendente su progetti di mosaico d'autore, tra cui il progetto d'autore del design del mosaico del complesso convento Novo-Alekseevsky (Mosca).
Nel 2017-2018 ha creato il progetto tessile d'autore "Unicornarte" (una serie di sciarpe di seta basate sull'arte medievale europea), sviluppando anche disegni per altri marchi. Nel 2019-2020 ha partecipato alla decorazione a mosaico della chiesa di San Sava Serbo a Belgrado. Dal 2020 lavora principalmente come pittrice. Dal 2004 partecipa regolarmente alle mostre dell'Università Teologica di Mosca, facoltà di pittura monumentale.
