Concetto

"Cielo infranto", 100 x 100 cm, olio su tela, 2023. il cielo, che un tempo incarnava per me la tranquillità e l'infinità dei pensieri, si è trasformato in una fonte di minaccia con lo svolgersi della guerra su larga scala in Russia. Il cielo rosso sulla tela funge da simbolo di un mondo esterno pericoloso, mentre le nuvole incarnano contemporaneamente uno stato interno di ansia. Il mio dipinto non solo riproduce le emozioni interne, ma richiama anche l'attenzione dello spettatore sul genocidio in corso, mentre l'esercito russo attacca e opprime senza pietà il popolo ucraino. Questa tela è un invito al mondo a prestare attenzione ai terribili eventi e alle ingiustizie che si svolgono sotto i loro occhi.

Biografia

Tamara Safarova, artista ucraina di origine azera, vive e lavora a Kiev. I principali temi di ricerca delle opere d'arte sono l'identità, la memoria, il trauma, il patrimonio culturale e gli stereotipi. La prima mostra personale si è tenuta nel maggio 2022 al Kunstmuseum (Stoccarda, Germania).
Tamara ha partecipato a mostre collettive in sedi quali Santa Marie delle Grazia (Venezia, Italia), il Museo nazionale dell'arte decorativa popolare ucraina (Kyiv, Ucraina), il Museo d'arte di Poltava (Poltava, Ucraina), la Galleria Mala dell'Arsenale M (Kyiv, Ucraina), la Kühlhaus (Berlino, Germania) e altre. 2024 - Sovvenzione, progetto "Lost Beliefs", Ifa. Stoccarda, Germania. 2023-2024 - Partecipa alla residenza dell'UNESCO, della Andy Warhol Foundation e della Tiger Foundation. 2023 - Borsa di studio, progetto "Lost Beliefs", Ifa. Stoccarda, Germania. 2022 - Premio Visual Art Frontline, un programma sostenuto dal Ministero federale degli Affari esteri della Germania. Le opere sono orgogliosamente conservate in collezioni pubbliche in Ucraina e in Italia.
