QiuRen, born in Qingtian, China in 1980, is the son of a farmer. He has not participated in any competitions, but he has grown into one of the most influential contemporary Chinese sculpture artists. When he was 13 years old, he taught himself nuclear carving. he became one of the best nuclear carving artists in China, and all his works have been collected by museums and collectors from all over the world. In 2013, the size of the fruit core was no longer sufficient for the creation content, so he completely abandoned the nuclear carving and devoted himself to the creation of bamboo carving. Starting from the research of bamboo materials, and constantly creating and evolving equipment, invented the technology of natural flattening bamboo without adding chemical assistance, and applied for a Chinese patent. His bamboo carvings are both traditional and innovative, bringing Chinese bamboo carvings into a new, multi-dimensional, and more thoughtful and emotional sculpture field. His bamboo sculptures are bold and rich in form and content. All of his works are collected by museums and private collectors. At the same time, he has become a representative of the new style of Chinese bamboo sculptures. So far, Qiuren has trained more than 100 students and participated in extracurricular interest education in local schools, all of which are taught for free.
