背景

我的畫作（丙烯和油畫）通過寫實的肖像畫來頌揚北極熊的美麗和智慧。北極光的背景、冰冷的倒影、漆黑的海水和夜空，讓您可以逃離大自然的奇觀，感受孤獨。北極熊是一種海洋哺乳動物，依靠冰凍的海洋進行狩獵、交配、覓食、旅行和庇護。碳排放引起的氣候變化正在降低地球的反照率，增加北極從春季到秋季的開放水域時間，並增加冬季冰頂之間的距離。這使得北極熊及其幼崽容易遭受飢餓、攻擊和溺水，並將其未來置於危險之中。因此，“暗水系列”的肖像畫表現了北極熊在暗水中游泳。北極熊的前爪部分有蹼，身體有浮力，是游泳健將，但它需要冰凍的大海才能生存。我想讓觀眾決定下一個冰流在相框之外有多遠，或者熊直到這一刻的旅程實際上是否是一次單獨的旅程。我的“北極熊花系列”中的一些成年北極熊，上面裝飾著由加拿大省和地區花卉組成的花冠。這樣做是為了向他們作為世界上最大的食肉動物和頂級北極捕食者的地位致敬，但也關乎我們對行動的共同責任：氣候變化。在我的“日落系列”中，冬天的黑暗正在消退，海冰也在消退，這對北極熊的生存至關重要。夕陽西下，為新的一天帶來希望。太陽的光輝從剩餘的海冰和北極熊半透明的皮毛上反射出來。
