我肖像画上的面孔和故事，归根结底都是我和我的疑惑。有时是不平衡的、不完美的、挑衅性的和抵制性的，但总是真诚的，引人重新思考和同情。我的艺术是由每个人生活中的基本话题引发的，比如人际关系、自己生命的意义、信仰和宗教、亲子关系、死亡......

对我来说，艺术创作是与这个世界和那些与我有同样疑问的人的灵魂...

对我来说，艺术创作是与这个世界和那些与我有同样疑问的人的灵魂沟通的一种方式。它也是个人治疗的手段，是我自己的语言。

我喜欢使用单色调和粗糙不平的表面。我通常会预先在画布上做纹理处理，或使用木板作为底色。对我来说，一些不平滑和不规则的地方反映了我作为艺术家的个性，也增加了我想在画作中传达的氛围。
