When I traveled in Germany, I saw wide, flat and yellow wheat fields. It was just like the image of landscape as European countryside I used to have. I might have been influenced by Van Gogh's pictures. The shape of the clouds in this picture are influenced by Ukiyoe, which is traditional Korean print art because I like Korean perspective technique. The painting materials I mostly uses are oil and pastel. Colors are the most important things for my work.
