오하시 미오 / Mio Ohashi 네덜란드, 영국에 유학 및 세계 30개국을 여행하는 가운데 만난 "이상의 아름다운 세계"를 그린다. 학업이나 일에 쫓기는 날들로부터 도망치도록 창작에 박힌다. 이윽고 자신이 괴로웠을 때 예술에 구원받은 것을 깨닫고, 긍정적인 에너지나 치유를 주는 그림을 그리는 결의를 한다. 2020년 출산과 코로나 화를 계기로 본격적인 활동을 개시. 이후 사무실, 쇼룸, 개인 주택 등에 350 작품을 전개. 「이상을 실현하는 아트」를 컨셉으로, 세련되고 화려함을 양립한 모던한 공간에 맞는 그림을 계속 그린다. 현재는 0세, 2세아의 육아에 분투중. I aspire to create artworks that create a comfortable atmosphere infused with warmth and ease. My artworks encapsulate my own interpretation and image of “beauty.” To me, surrounding myself with things I see beauty in gives me positivity, hence I hope to be to deliver that value of beauty, and spread positive energy through my artworks. I aspire to create art that conveys “multiple perspectives,” which gives each individual the freedom to explore and interpret the artwork and find their own meaning to the piece. that the way any work of art is interpreted differs with each viewer, and even within the same person it can differ depending on the environment it is placed, the time of day and even the viewer's emotional state. Each artwork is open to interpretation and the control is in the viewer's hands, and therefore I aspire to create pieces that resonate to each individual, and through my art career I hope to encourage more people to find their own essence of “beauty” an d spread the value of aesthetic appreciation.” About the Work: Almost all of the colors used in each artwork is originally blended, and there is a collection of over 20 variations of platinum gold, which is included in most of the artworks as a key accent to the piece. What inspired you to create art? I always loved art as a young child, and I found interest in the act of being able to freely interpret and express things, and infinitely expand my imagination.
